Animation Editing

I am currently an animated assistant editor at Cheeky Little Media, where we are working on a brand new show for kids. Each day I work with Storyboard ProAdobe Premiere Pro, and a whole host of other softwares that help us collaborate internationally, out of our local offices here in Sydney. I started out as a Cheeky Little intern, working on the ABC pre-school show Kangaroo Beach.

I adore it endlessly. (Even the passive agressive notes about tidying up in the staff kitchen are fun!)

In 2024 I did year-long research into animation editing; its history, pros and cons. I consolidated my findings into Editing Workflows: Conveyor belts, computers, and the new order of things, in which I asked the question “What are the benefits and hindrances of different editing workflows?” This paper was submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master Arts Screen: Editing at AFTRS.
